Nonbinary name survey results

Click here to find out what the nonbinariest name is. There were over 11,000 responses to the survey, and over 20,000 unique names were entered. The report has about 700 words and 3 graphs, plus a spreadsheet to peruse in more detail.

There have been over 30,000 responses so far! And there's about a week and a half left. As always, any help with promotion is deeply appreciated, especially to people outside of the USA and/or over the age of 30. Here's some easy sharing links.

Some blog posts published along the way that might be of interest:

• I think I've worked out why participation is so much lower this year than previous years.
• On the meaning of "always, solely and completely" in the survey's one criterion checkbox, complete with colourful diagram.
• A kind Tumblr Blaze (kind of like a sponsorship) from a Tumblr follower got boosted by Tumblr itself because a Tumblr mod thought the survey was cool, leading to 2,000 more participants in 24 hours!
• Wouldn't it be funny/satisfying if entries from flyers/leaflets were more numerous than entries from Twitter?
• New flyer design, and an invitation to submit flyers and posters for others to use.
• On how much space the pronoun textboxes take up in the data, and some insight into decision-making in survey design.

And if you're itching to do another survey, this USA-based research project wants your name change stories for a trans-supportive name change workbook, and there's a couple of UK-based research projects that desperately need more participants.
